IPS Officer Basic Training
At Impact Public Safety the training, experience, and safety of our officers is of the utmost importance. Every officer must complete IPS basic training before being placed at an account. After they have completed the in office course of training. Each officer then goes to the post that they are assigned too to complete an on the job training shift. Our officers are trained in the following:
- Customer service
- Company policy
- Public relations and client post orders
- Security/ Public Safety Service legalities
- Patrol procedures
- Report writing
- Radio procedure
- On-duty security gear
- Appropriate use of force
IPS Patrol Officer Training
Impact Public Safety & Investigation’s Patrol Officers are not your average security team. Our patrol officers typically come from some sort of security, law enforcement, or military background and are seasoned with experience and training. In addition, each of our Patrol Officers have completed IPS induction training, which includes the following topics:
- Use of force
- Use of deadly force
- Firearms
- Use of equipment carried on duty
- Legal aspects of security/public safety service
- Customer service
- Patrol Procedures
- Report writing
- Radio Procedure
- Public Relations / Crisis Management
All of our officers submit to periodic evaluations on their training and work performance. This is to ensure that we continue to provide excellence and the highest-quality service to our clients.
